SM1 conveyor shaft attachment
The SM1 simply snaps on the conveyor shaft ready to ready to go. No adjustment needed. Using the sensor patent number US s10,312,907 that increases sensor distance, the SM1 sensor is located below the shaft attachment. The sensor bracket is secured to the magnetic mounting hub with a stainless steel shoulder bolt. The sensor bracket is made using Acetalal material which is water, dust and dirt resistant and extremely low friction. If sensor needs replaced, simply remove 2 allen screws from sensor holder and install new holder with sensor already secured. The sensor has a bright led for status indication.

The sensor holder that mounts to the conveyor shaft is secured by 2 100lb attraction magnets. This will give 200 total holding strength which is more than enough t0 keep it centered on shaft and not fall off.

If conditions require more holding strength as in higher shaft speeds. or material falling on the the SM1 with 2 magnets causing it to move off shaft, an optional SM1-4 is available. The SM1-4 has 4 magnets instead of 2. The 4 magnets will provide almost 400 lb of holding strengtth

The SM1 has a easily visible led light that can be easily seen when inspection is required. The light always faces toward the outside of shaft makes it easy to see.

The SM2 provides mounting the sensor away from shaft if needed. It has a heavy duty swivel mount to provide flexible installation. The sensor and swivel is mount on a base with 2 magnets to hold it in place on any steel structure on conveyor. Watch the video for more information.
